PressTV and the Cheney Lie…

PressTV an Iranian media entity has this headline amongst others today.

Cheney: Slain troops volunteered

That is an eye catching title by any definition.It is also clearly designed to invoke the anti American, anti neo-con,Bush sucks, mantra. The truth though , and to their credit they (PressTV) report it the VP said this.

“But we are fortunate to have a group of men and women, the all-volunteer force, who voluntarily put on the uniform and go in harm’s way for the rest of us,” said the vice president.

I dare say we are lucky we have the volunteer force and more so the men and women that do indeed volunteer and serve so well. Source
