USA vs Iran…

3248450607.jpegFirst let me repeat my mantra that I believe there are “two” Iran’s. The everyday citizenry of Iran are proud of their Persian past, love their families and don’t want a war with the USA. The other Iran is the Revolutionary Guard and assorted whack jobs in the governing bodies. This people have varying personas. There are the regional supremacy guys, the Islamists and the let’s die so we can meet Allah guys. The latter two are especially dangerous since they don’t view their actions as wrong on ANY level. Regional supremacy guys are possibly open to having their sovereignty respected and sitting down with the rest of the world.

The American people. I do believe we’re getting a little war weary and are unwilling to support a war against Iran. With that said though aggression on behalf of Iran directly and its cohorts could lead to a response. Bottom line Iran has promised to strike against Gulf and US interests if “attacked”. The only solution and Iran has to know this is “No boots just Bombs”. The old joke of turning a country into glass mean anything to anyone ?

The desire of the President of Iran to visit Ground Zero. This is out of line. He of course scores the victory in his world either way. On an intellectual level I think we all need to be aware of that. He either would of looked good by paying respects or is still the bigger person accepting being denied and rolling the denial into the snowball that is much of the Iranian v West political debate.

Iran is a real country with real issues. Just like other nations throughout history sabre rattling alleviates the need to face domestic issues.

Columbia is supposedly going to ask him “tough questions” before allowing him to say whatever he wants. Again no matter what he’s the victor here. The university is more an ally to his views than an adversary. The university has already capitulated its credibility long ago this is all just extra cherries on the sundae.

I personally think W or someone should meet Ahmadinejad in NYC and go face to face with him. That is the better confrontation and gives the USA a win.

    Your rebuttal is “who cares?.

You really have no understanding of the mindset of Islam? Do you?

None of this would matter, however, if Ayatollah Khameini wasn’t also determined to acquire a nuclear arsenal. Some members of the government have even boasted how they would use them: to destroy Israel. “Islam could survive the retaliation,” they insist, “but Israel would be gone forever.” The thought of ayatollahs with nuclear bombs should terrify everyone – especially in Europe, because the Iranians could soon put those bombs on the top of rockets that could reach European capitals.

There is my rebuttal. Try understanding the ummah. Try understanding the weakness of the Western dhimmi leaders.

Its easy for him to play the sysytem when our world leaders are weak willed dhimmis.

This is a war of no good choices. Allowing Iran to get nukes will be the worse choice.

Unfortunately that would lead to a conflict that no one really wins. It needs to be said that said conflict is a net positive for Iran. The nuclear debate is a debacle. I don’t like the idea of a nuclear Iran. With that said though Russia and China are on their side so further sanctions are not likely to happen, last or actually be observed to a degree that affects Iran. It’s kind of a kick in the nuggets to see Ahmadinejad so effectively “play the system.”

The only victory would be taking out his nuclear capibilty
